Clamoxin 625 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. It is used to treat bacterial infections like, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, boils, abscesses, cellulitis, wound infection, bone infection, and oral cavity infections.
How often should clamoxin be taken?
Adults and Children > 40 Kg: Usual dose: One Clamoxin 625 tablet three times a day; Children < 40 Kg: Children may be treated with formulation found appropriate for the age of the child and severity of the disease.
What should I avoid while taking AMOX CLAV?
AMOX CLAV is an antibiotic medication used to treat bacterial infections. It can interact with alcohol and warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven). It can also interact with two gout medications: probenecid and allopurinol (Zyloprim). But it’s unlikely to interact with birth control pills.
